This is a movie from my presentation at the 3rd discussion forum of the Composer Seminar at the Lucerne Festival Academy!!
拙作のプレゼンテーションの様子が、ルツェルン音楽祭作曲家セミナーの紹介映像になっています。

In that presentation I showed my 3 pieces, 'Spiral Mandala' for Shomyo (Japanese Buddhist chant), 'Hangonko' for Rakugo storyteller (Japanese traditional verbal entertainment), violin, cello and shamisen, and 'Three Voices' for string trio, to represent my thought between human voice, Japanese language, and instrumental sound. (This chant you can hear at the beginning of this movie is one of the traditional Shomyo pieces of Shingon Sect!)

I was really really happy and truly honored to share and talk about my works and Japanese things with Wolfgang Rihm, Dieter Ammann, my lovely colleagues, and everyone who was there!!

日本の声、言葉と音をめぐっての創作観を示したかったので、声明のための《螺旋曼荼羅》、落語、ヴァイオリン、チェロと三味線のための《反魂香》、弦楽三重奏のための《三つの聲》という流れでプレゼンテーションをしました。自分の声明作品を説明するのにあたり、古典声明もちょっと紹介したので、映像の最初に聴こえているのは孤嶋由昌先生の散華です。Wolfgangが声明について言及してくださっているのに注目です。
